Job Description:
Crafts, builds, tests, and delivers new features for key digital
offerings, using Spring MVS, Spring Core, and Content Management
Systems -- SDL Tidion. Assists with the technical design and
creation of quality Web-based applications used by retail and
workplace customers by coding in XML, CSS, Java, and SQL languages.
Communicates technical needs and capabilities to non-technical team
members, product owners, and partners using collaboration tools --
Confluence. Provides analysis leadership on complex systems
analysis projects, often across subsystems and companies, in a
matrix organization. Consults with business users to develop
recommendations that address difficult and complex business needs
and opportunities. Primary Responsibilities: Leads and conducts interviews with business users to gather
requirements, and understand technology needs as well as system and
workflow challenges. Develops recommendations that address difficult and complex
business needs and opportunities. Establishes full project life cycle plans for complex systems
analysis projects, and defines project scope. Leads other analysts in the execution of documents on large and
complex projects and monitor the quality and progress of documents
created by other analysts. Designs new systems based on requirements. Leads and participates in the definition of test strategies, and
coordinates user acceptance testing efforts. Communicates the progress of multiple projects to management,
engages stakeholders on a regular basis, and manages expectations
of internal and external stakeholders. Serves as industry subject matter expert, and identifies other
subject matter experts who are the sources of requirements for
large and complex projects. Works with other teams to evolve standards and best practices
for systems analysis processes. Participates in incident/crisis management to assess business
impact, determine/facilitate any workarounds, in concert with the
production support organization. Advises on risk assessment and risk management strategies. Coaches and mentors junior product analysts and developers on
systems analysis techniques and business workflows. Education and Experience: Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer
Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems,
Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and five (5) years
of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience
developing Web API services and Windows, Web, and mobile
applications within a banking and financial services domain. Or, alternatively, Masters degree (or foreign education
equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information
Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely
related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered
or three (3) years of experience developing Web API services and
Windows, Web, and mobile applications within a banking and
financial services domain. Skills and Knowledge: Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (DE) developing customized Windows
applications using Microsoft technologies -- WPF, Prism, C# -- on a
.NET platform; developing mobile applications in an XCode
environment, using iOS Swift and Objective-C; and accessing and
updating data on Oracle and SQL Server back-end databases using SQL
queries. DE developing server-side Web API RESTful microservices in an
Eclipse development environment, using Java and J2EE technologies
-- Sprint Boot Framework and Apache; and validating Web API
requests and responses, using SOAPUI and Postman tools. DE automation testing Windows applications on a .Net platform
using Microsoft technologies -- Appium framework; performing
automation testing of Web APIs using Java and Rest Assured library;
creating test plans, cases, and scripts using RQM tool; executing
automation test suites using Continuous Integration/Continuous
Delivery (CI/CD) Jenkins pipeline; and generating
Cucumber-reports. DE analyzing use cases for interactive Web applications;
analyzing and monitoring data logs using Splunk; writing user
stories, requirements, and supporting documentation; analyzing the
integration of RESTful APIs; participating in backlog refinement
and retrospectives, and defining story scope in an Agile
environment; creating, editing, and publishing content using
Content Management Systems -- SDL Tridion; triaging production
