Job Description:

The New England Medical Innovation Center (NEMIC) is a Med Tech Venture Studio and incubator located in downtown Providence, Rhode Island. -We support local, regional, and global Med Tech entrepreneurs and startups on their path to commercialization through mentoring, education, programming, events, networking, and a collaborative innovation center. -NEMIC's individualized services and expertise in working with the FDA help our clients prepare for successful fundraising and technology commercialization in the field of healthcare, digital devices, and medical products.
We are seeking a -full-time Project Coordinator to work with our team to assist with project coordination on new and existing programs (e.g. startup education, accelerators, university partnered programs, and sponsorship engagements). This role is also responsible for providing necessary support to our startup clients, partners, and program participants through program development, participant management, and communications. The Project Coordinator will also assist with program promotion and client relations and communications. This candidate should possess the ability to work under pressure, adapt to change, and work individually and with a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• General Program Coordination, Administration & Support
• Support the launch of our Online Education Program, NEMICed, by coordinating the launch, recruitment of participants, onboarding, and participant management
• Ongoing client relationship management, including scheduling & customer service with domestic and overseas clients
• Follow-up, survey, and assessment of participant satisfaction and program performance
• Responsible for accounts payable and receivable
• Billing and invoice management
• Grant documentation reporting
• Ensure program budgets are being met, and work with the NEMIC team to review budget allocation
• Prepare information for outside accountants for tax preparation
• Provide administrative, clerical, and backup support to other team members, including payroll
• Supporting grant funding research and opportunity identification
  Qualifications and Skills
  • 1+ years in a similar role
  • Strong problem and resolution skills
  • Strong written & oral communication skills
  • Strong social skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Capable with primary MS Office, Google platform, Slack, other CRM and PM platforms
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint formation skills
  • Proven ability to create project plans, track progress, reach goals/deadlines, and report to managing partners and supporting staff effectively
  • This position requires a candidate that can take initiative and adapt to changes
