So, if you want to be challenged in an exciting and fast-paced environment, this is the place for you!The Role:The Staff Accountant is responsible for assisting with the review/homogenization of the Chart of Accounts (COA) being used by Casinos & Resorts (C&R) as well as owning the review process for the C&R monthly reconciliations. This role will also assist with other Shared Services tasks such as overseeing the allocation models for the various Shared Services functions (insurance, medical, PCard, etc.). This role will support the Executive Director of Shared Services Accounting and the related sub-groups within that department.Responsibilities:Prepares monthly account reconciliations.Prepares consolidated monthly financial statements by gathering and analyzing information from the general ledger system and from subsidiaries.Review and Reconcile variances within the C&R reconciliations.Analyze COA activities for C&R and homogenizing the usagePrepare/analyze budget to actual filesPrepare Shared Services allocation models and associated journal entries.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance requiredAt least two years' experience in accounting or a related fieldStrong mathematical and analytical skillsProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPointProven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneouslyWhat's in it for you:Competitive salary with annual performance bonusComprehensive health coverage plan that includes medical, dental, and vision401(K)/ Company MatchEmployee Stock Purchase PlanAccess Perks and Childcare discounts#Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
