We are seeking candidates whose primary roles would be in our year
round ERISA audit practice.-- Our New England office services over
170 Plan audits consisting of 401(k), 401(a), 403(b), Defined
Contribution, ESOP and Defined Benefit Plans for a variety of
companies and organizations in a wide range of industries.
Essential Functions and Primary Duties
--------- Serve as client's trusted advisor, demonstrates knowledge
of industry trends, identify client issues and conflicts;
proactively communicate solution options to client and team
--------- Demonstrated knowledge of audits of all types of
retirement plans, including, 401(k), 403(b), 401(a), Defined
Contribution, Defined Benefit and ESOP
--------- Manage staff on engagement deliverables (such as
financial statements, work papers, etc.); complete technical and
strategic reviews as a member of the final engagement review team
to ensure quality control standards are met; ensure on time
delivery and on budget
--------- Demonstrate proficient technical skills for handling all
client responsibilities, including knowledge of trends, industries,
alternatives, etc.
--------- Understand the client's plan provisions, procedures and
internal policies
--------- Responsible for new client development in partnership
with upper management; participate in client meetings,
presentations and proposal development and meet individual
cross-serve goals
--------- Manage and retain multiple client relationships,
engagements and special projects
--------- Consistently meet personal charge hour goals
--------- Responsible for job budgeting, billing and realization on
assigned clients
--------- Supervise and develop staff within the niche
--------- Supervise and develop off-shore staff
--------- Foster a team environment; demonstrates support of
management and decisions and build a positive culture
--------- Participate in practice development activities that lead
to the generation of new business and the opportunities for
cross-serve sales
--------- Additional responsibilities as assigned
Minimum Qualifications Required
--------------- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree
preferred in Accounting, Taxation or related field
--------------- 3 years experience in public accounting or related
field
--------------- 1 years supervisory experience
--------------- CPA candidates preferred
--------------- Ability to manage all aspects of client
engagements
--------------- Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in
writing throughout all levels or organization, both internally and
externally
--------------- Must be able to travel based on client and business
needs
--------------- Proficient use of applicable technology
The annual salary target for this job in this market is
$85,000-$130,000. The specific compensation for this role will be
determined based on the education, experience, and skill set of the
individual selected for this position.
