more! What you can expect to be doing: Haley Ward is looking for a
Land Surveyor in Training in our Leominster, MA office to collect
land information using survey instruments, conduct reconnaissance,
mark property boundaries, conduct construction stakeout, and assist
Land Surveyors with computer-aided drafting and math computations.
Perform work on boundary and topographic surveys, and construction
stakeouts as part of a field crew, or alone using Leica robotic
instrumentation. Collect data on significant site features,
locating and recovering property pins and boundary markers. Play a
role in ensuring all projects are completed according to plan
schedules, company policy, and production standards. Assist with
the preparation of survey drawing utilizing CAD software.
Collaborate with other Survey Staff to meet project goals. Working
Conditions This position requires sufficient physical stamina to
work long hours outdoors under various field conditions, and to
lift and carry 40 pounds. Year-round outdoor work is subject to
temperature extremes and inclement weather conditions. Work hours
are subject to change with overtime work as needed to meet project
schedules. Occasional overnight travel may be required. What you
will need to succeed: LSIT with 7 years of combined experience and
education. Ability to understand and follow written and oral
instructions, ability to clearly communicate information both
verbally and in writing. Experience in Leica and Carlson surveying
equipment is preferred, but not required. AutoCAD experience is
required. Valid driver’s license required. A criminal background
check and driving record check will be conducted. Haley Ward is

starting work (Required) The estimated range for this role is:
$68,394 to $87,837. Actual compensation may vary based on factors
such as related work experience, location, market conditions,
education/training, certifications, credentials, skills, and
demonstrated proficiency for the role. Compensation is reviewed at
least annually each year. Compensation is also adjusted throughout
the year to recognize position advancement, responsibilities and
licensure and/or certification.
