Job Title: Reliability Maintenance Engineer
Job Posting:This is a new position reporting to the Maintenance Manager in our client's Lincoln, RI facility. They need to aggressively increase in productivity and lower its manufacturing costs, and there is a need to recruit a Reliability Maintenance Engineer. The position will provide direction and leadership to the Maintenance Department daily.
Responsibilities:

• Supervise installation of new machines, check, and inspect them before released to production.
• Direct the activities of the maintenance department to ensure that all plant equipment is maintained, and available for production.
• Schedule preventative maintenance for all machines and make sure scheduling is executed and uptime of equipment is continually improved.
• Coordinate priority maintenance scheduling with production requirements in conjunction with production department managers and production scheduling department.
• Establish contact with vendors as needed and take bids, approve bids, and supervise and inspect work to assure quality.
  Skills / Qualifications:
  • Provide competent and timely engineering support for the correction of process equipment deficiencies, improvements in equipment and processes, installation of new or refurbished equipment, and facilities maintenance and improvements.
  • A high energy, results driven Maintenance Engineer who has demonstrated ability working in a high-performance manufacturing environment.
  • Ensure that Preventive and Predictive Maintenance programs are in place.
  • Must be able to manage multiple, complex tasks and deal easily with pressure on a day in and day out basis while maintaining safety, production, and attention to detail.
  • Solid planning, leadership, and administrative skills, along with critical thinking and strong analytical abilities to achieve results and improve key metrics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with PC knowledge and use of Microsoft office, Data Stream 7 I, or a facilities maintenance management system (MMS).
  • Work cross functionally with process engineers to develop best practices, overcome machine issues, and support IT functions in collaboration with personnel and contractors, as necessary.
  • Assist maintenance personnel, when needed, in troubleshooting problems with equipment and systems.
  • Possess technical skills pertaining to the repair and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment, with a focus on reliability, predictability, MTBF and TPM.
  • Develops analysis methods to determine reliability of components and determines materials needed based on evaluability.
    Qualifications:
    • BS degree in engineering or related field OR seven (7) or more years of similar experience in lieu of degree - required.
    • At least Five (5) years of Maintenance Management or Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment - required.
    • Project management experience a plus.
    • Technical drawing/CAD experience - preferred.
    • Experience or working knowledge with Automation Technology (PLC's, programming, Allen Bradley, Siemens, TI, etc.).
    • Experience using lean methodologies in a fast-paced manufacturing environment - preferred.
    • Must be available to work occasional nights and weekends - as needed.
