-Job PurposeThe Lead Engineer, LNG Regulatory and Compliance will work within the Liquid Natural Gas (LNG) Operations Compliance & Training Group covering three (3) states, with twelve (12) LNG plants to ensure high levels of regulatory and company policy compliance through use of internal audits/inspections, risk analysis, and standardization across the enterprise. This role will also prepare reports for departmental management, train plant personnel on procedural changes and updates and oversee compliance within the PAS (Publicly Available Specification) 55 protocol.
-Key AccountabilitiesPosition Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

• Provide expert technical support to the plants relative to regulatory inspections conducted by Federal, State and local regulatory agencies
• Conduct second-line assurance inspections of the department's standardize program of plant documentation -
• Make recommendations to resolve deficiencies
• Provide expert recommendations to plant personnel in the development and implementation of code required plant drills -
• Maintain the department's existing LNG Operator Training Program -
• Develop and implement new training programs due to plant modifications
• Provide technical expertise in the inspection process and operation of Portable Vaporization Operations
• Become proficient in the Process Safety Management system relative to LNG Operations
  - -Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required; Engineering preferred
  • 7+ years of related work experience in the LNG, utility or oil and gas industries required -
  • Knowledge of LNG systems and regulations including Federal DOT LNG CFR 193 and NFPA 59A preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to apply and modify complex theories and learned concepts appropriately preferred
  • Strong analytical skills required to understand, manage, assess, trend, and problem solve ranging operational processes preferred
  • Valid driver's license required
