As a Blade Repair Technician II , you’ll play a key role in maintaining the structural integrity of our turbine blades, ensuring they perform at their best. If you're experienced in composite repair and ready to take your skills to the next level, we want to hear from you. What You’ll Do Perform advanced composite repairs on wind turbine blades using epoxy, polyester resins, wet lay-up, and vacuum bagging techniques. Train and mentor Level I technicians, sharing your expertise and ensuring quality standards. Interpret technical drawings and draft work instructions for repair processes. Work independently on complex repairs and document all work accurately. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Collaborate with engineers and production teams to resolve technical challenges. Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including hazardous waste handling and confined space procedures. ? What You Bring High school diploma or GED. 2 years of composite repair experience , preferably in wind energy or aerospace. Certified in at least two repair types and completed TDR Level III . Strong understanding of fiberglass, balsa/foam core materials, and structural reinforcement. Ability to read blueprints and technical documents. Skilled with powered hand tools and repair gauges. Excellent teamwork, adaptability, and a strong work ethic. Must pass Respiratory Fit and Confined Space tests. Willingness to work overtime and maintain 100% training attendance. Why Join Vestas?
