Job Description:
Lifeway Mobility, a leader in providing innovative mobility
solutions, is seeking a dedicated Mobility Technician to join our
technical support team. This role is crucial in installing,
maintaining, and troubleshooting a variety of mobility and
accessibility devices including ramps, stair lifts, and bath safety
products. Our aim is to enhance the independence of individuals at
their homes, and the Mobility Technician will play a pivotal role
in achieving this goal by ensuring all equipment functions safely
and efficiently. Install, maintain, and repair mobility and
accessibility equipment according to manufacturer specifications
and company standards. Conduct regular maintenance checks and
troubleshooting to ensure equipment functionality and safety.
Provide training and support to users and their caregivers on how
to operate and maintain the mobility equipment safely. Document
service and installation actions by completing forms, reports,
logs, and records. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Stay updated with the latest industry standards and technology
advancements related to mobility and accessibility solutions.
Collaborate with customer service to handle client concerns and
feedback regarding equipment functionality and service. Technical
aptitude with mechanical and electronic systems Strong
problem-solving abilities Excellent communication and customer
service skills Ability to work independently and manage time
effectively Comfortable working in home settings and navigating
various physical environments Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certification as a Certified
Environmental Access Consultant (CEAC) preferred Technical
certification in mechanical or electronic repair is beneficial
