Business: Boys Town Job Summary: The Supervisor of Community Support Services supervises culturally and linguistically appropriate staff that deliver services in a variety of settings to include homes, schools, and the community. This position also collaborates with internal and external stakeholders of the programming provided by staff of Father Flanagan's Boys Home. Responsibilities:

Plans, implements, and coordinates the daily operations Community Support Services. Hires, supervises, trains, and evaluates program personnel. Develops and maintains community collaborations; educates and communicates to civic leaders, government officials, and professionals in the community. Evaluates program development progress to ensure program effectiveness. Supervises and participates in individualized and group lesson plans. Provides reports on request; analyzes and reviews data. Assists in developing and maintaining program budgets; arranges for purchase of equipment and supplies. Contributes to ongoing program development and quality while overseeing staff completing Common Sense Parenting classes and providing services in homes, schools, and communities. Supervises staff involved in multiple programs. Supervises and provides assessment of staff strengths and needs while implementing strategies for continued development. Acts as an advocate for children and families. Monitors and ensures that records and documentation, including service plans, forms, reports, case notes, narratives, outcome measures, and demographics, are completed appropriately and on time. Assists in accepting and screening referrals to the program. Supervises and participates in service planning reviews, progress reviews, staff meetings, and case reviews. Available to staff on a 24/7 on-call basis. Promotes safety through ongoing training and supervision and promotes culture of professionalism through role modeling, profession, and respect. May be trained to become a certified Common Sense Parenting Instructor and as a certified instructor may be asked to conduct Common Sense Parenting (CSP) Courses at designated locations as assigned. Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in social services, behavioral sciences, related field, or equivalent; Master's degree is preferred. 1 to 2 years of experience, preferably including direct care in a human services field, administrative, and supervisory experience. Must provide own transportation (mileage reimbursed) to complete travel requirements of the job.
