seeking a Data Governance Manager who will be responsible for
creating, enhancing and executing a successful organizational data
governance program. They will establish trusted, enterprise-level
data assets and facilitate their consumption for fact-based
decisions and actions as well as ensure Amica's data assets comply
with all regulations from all regulatory stakeholders. In addition,
they will provide direction and lead a high performing team with
diverse skillsets to develop and execute data initiatives that
require the following contributions: data governance, data
architecture, program and project management, and data strategy
development.This position supports two work from days a week.
Higher levels of experience are welcomed and compensation will be
evaluated accordingly.Responsibilities:
- Empower the efficient use of data as a corporate asset to
strengthen the organization's competitive advantage
- Provide project management support and strategic advice to
support EDS projects and transformative efforts
- Identify process improvements to facilitate successful
operational efficiency within EDS
- Collaborate regularly with key stakeholders to
understand/prioritize data and analytics needs, assist in
developing solutions and drive implementation
- Identify and surface risks, issues, and changes to strategy,
project plans and prioritization
- Serving as an enterprise leader for data governance by
educating, influencing and driving data governance strategies
across multiple levels of the organization
- Identifying, defining and recommending data governance
priorities and use cases
- Assisting in the development, maintenance and refinement of
both functional and strategic data analytics and governance related
roadmaps
- Conducting data and analytics maturity assessments when
applicable
- Identifying, defining and recommending data governance
priorities and use cases
- Partner with other data and analytics practitioners to
implement data governance processes and practices
- Collaborate on the development of data and analytics related
standards and processes
- Lead, coach and manage a high-performing diverse data solutions
team with broad skill sets including project management, data
analysis, business process, solutions architecture, data governance
and data product management
- Developing data literacy training and a change management
approach to improve adoption & business impact
- Communicate the ongoing business benefit impact for data and
analytics projects
- Ensure enterprise-wide data standards, policies and processes
are created, implemented, executed and observedQualifications
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 7 years of work experience
in data analytics, data governance, project/program management,
managing teams, business operations, or strategy related roles.
Advanced certifications or degrees in these subject matters
preferred.
- Experience standing up and executing a successful
organizational data governance program
- Knowledge in program and project management
- Expertise in change management
- Six sigma certified and/or demonstrated skills in process
improvement
- Competency developing and coaching individuals, empowering them
to reach their fullest potential
- Strong understanding of data strategy, data governance and data
management disciplines
- Advanced analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving
skills
- Capacity to distill complex issues into structured frameworks
and action plans and provide clarity of purpose

across the organization at all levels
- Familiarity with best practices in data architecture
- Ability to think strategically, properly prioritize work and
define objectives to ensure desired business outcomes are
achieved
- Strong drive for results to successfully organize, track and
manage multiple initiatives
- Skilled at developing presentations with business/technical
details for key stakeholders and executives
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the
ability to articulate, persuade and convey the value of data and
analytics to multiple audiences, up and down the organization
