Job Description:
Summary: Reporting to the corporate Controller, our client's
corporate AR Manager will be responsible for managing all
activities and personnel of both Accounts Receivable and
Credit/Collections within the Accounting department. This includes
the day-to-day activities of accounts receivable such as billing
and collection of invoices to ensure timely payments from our
customers. You will help escalate internal and external issues to
our stakeholders and be a main point of contact for our
customers.Job Description:
Direct and supervise the overall
Accounts Receivable and Credit and Collections functions Manage a
team of 6-8 direct reports by providing leadership, coaching,
mentoring and career development.Understand, develop, support and
manage trade receivables risk, beginning with credit policy,
contract terms and management of the receivables aging.Establish
and manage strong business relationships with accounting and
finance team, sales, and other stakeholdersEnsure that all AR are
collected timely and proactively and are processed in accordance
with company policyNotify customers of insufficient payments and
delinquent accountsEvaluate and implement cost efficient
performance methodsDevelop and implement clear and concise policies
and procedures for the AR departmentPrepare financial reports by
collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and
trendsMaintain accounting ledgers by posting account
transactionsPerform other duties as assigned.Required Skills and
Qualifications:
3-7 years of accounting management
experience5-10 years of accounts receivable experience in a service
industry; construction preferredBS/BA in Accounting or related
field; or equivalent experienceExperience with Intact accounting
software and Service Title service software is helpful, but not
requiredAbility to manage teams in multiple locationsKnowledgeable
with computer applications, including Word, Excel and
PowerPoint.Excellent knowledge of information technology and
management information systems and how it can be used to improve
operations.Good written and verbal communication skillsGood
interpersonal and analytical skills.Travel:
