Job Description:
Purpose: The Senior Brand Creative Manager will oversee all
creative design and packaging. The role is highly creative, with a
strong design eye. This position report to the Vice President of
Brand Management as a key leader on the team, responsible for the
Brand Visual Identity Guardrails and Standards, all package design,
as well as creative brand direction for Shopper Marketing / Selling
Materials. The Senior Brand Creative Manager will lead a team of
designers and work hand in hand in partnership and collaboration
with the Brand Management team to ensure aligned, clear Brand
Visual Identity and Guardrails are established and executed. This
role will ensure high level of design, project output from the team
and ensures brand standards and consistency throughout the
organization. This position is responsible for all packaging on all
brands and plays an instrumental role in staying in stock with
packaging and a multimillion-dollar contract for production and
pre-press. Job Responsibilities:
- Works in partnership and collaboration with Brand
Management/Marketing teams in developing clear Brand Visual
Identity (VIS) and Brand Guardrails for our portfolio of Private
Brands. -
- Leads all packaging for all brands (-5,000 SKUs) to ensure it
is accurate and available for manufacturing and shipping on time to
hit sales targets.
- Manage and develop in-house Creative and Packaging team of -3+
direct reports.
- Improve quality and efficiency of team by evaluating,
re-designing, and implementing processes as needed while improving
costs.
- Manage own and team's projects, working within budget and
scheduling requirements
- Establishes and maintains vendor and cross functional
relationships to manage expectations (e.g., high level of service,
accountability, etc.), to provide timely feedback, and to maximize
cost efficiency, quality, timeliness, and responsiveness in a
manner that best supports the organization's initiatives.
- Review and approve art and copy developed by the team, ensuring
deliverables effectively address established briefs, goals and fall
within Brand Guardrails.
- Develops and leads creative process flow across all
departments.
- Where opportunity exists, proposes suggestions and concepts to
save money in packaging to directly impact EBITDA targets.
Design/Art Direction: 70%
- Oversee the conceptual and stylistic direction, design,
branding, and the coordination of graphic designers, packaging
managers, creative coordinators, photographers and outside
agencies. Support Creative strategy and materials for Trade Shows,
Selling materials, POS, as required
- Manage the artistic development of brand materials and
packaging, including print, collateral, website/digital, label
design, advertising, photo styling, etc.
- Creates compelling visual imagery that directly relays
compliant, key messages to customers and consumers on packaging and
in brand guides.
- Oversee brand guidelines and new brand visual identity projects
/ evolutions as needed in partnership and collaboration with Brand
Management teams
- Partner with Brand Management, Customer Insights and other key
stakeholders to bring the brand vision and brand visual identity to
life through all touch points internally and externally.
- Maintains graphic consistency and quality across all
deliverables.
- Propose creative concepts and layouts for potential and new
projects
- Attend photo shoots and press checks to ensure that the
products needed are obtained as needed. Other: 10%
- Stays on top of market, competitor, and demographic trends,
analyzes products for competitiveness, and proactively recommends
modifications to retain and improve packaging competitiveness in
the market.
- Play integral role in management of external agencies; manage
all business reviews and priorities
- Partner with cross functional departments, where relevant, to
ensure content is designed to achieve varying objectives Performs

Certifications/or Equivalent combination of education training and
experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in graphic design Experience :
- 10+ years' experience in creative/art direction and design
- Rebrand or redesign leadership mandatory
- Worked at CPG company with high regulatory guidelines
- Managed team of graphic designers and project coordinators
- Budget ownership and cost of goods improvement Knowledge/
Skills/ Abilities :
- Expert in Adobe Creative Suite, Illustrator, In Design and
Photoshop and Microsoft office
- Experience with project management systems like Dragonfly,
Robohead, and Basecamp
- Excellent technical understanding of packaging print process
including color management, pre-press, and material types
- A thorough understanding of design-related processes including
photography, retouching, production, and printing
- Strong understanding of brand development and multi-channel
retailer
- High level of design, creativity
- Experience working with various, cross-functional, internal,
and external groups to deliver meaningful results on time with
limited direction in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Exceptional time management, organizational and planning skills
are needed to prioritize and coordinate multiple projects and
deadlines.
- Passionate about branding, storytelling, and producing content
to drive client engagement PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT/ DEMANDS:

- Most work is performed in a temperature-controlled office
environment

- Pay Range: $80,000 - 149,500 Annually ($38.46 - 71.88
Hourly)
