Job Description:
Summary:Position reports to the Senior Vice President of
ClinicalServices Lines. As the Vice President (VP) the position
will provide the strategicvision oversight plan organize and direct
all functions and activitiesrelated to diagnostic imaging
interventional radiology inpatient andoutpatient imaging services
as well as imaging related business ventures andpartners. The VP
must be able to identify innovative process changes for thefuture
lead a large team and collaborate with Lifespan leadership
includingaffiliate Presidents to drive efficiencies profit and
technological advancesin medical imaging. The VP will promote high
quality standards with an emphasison patient and family centered
care.The leader will be the system expert on imaging serviceswhich
includes guiding initiatives that optimize ease of access
processimprovement patient safety and quality. In addition the VP
will beaccountable to interpret policies standards and regulations
to personnelpatients and medical staff.Responsibilities:---
Developdirect and drive a comprehensive strategic plan for Imaging
services--- Workclosely with affiliate leaders and directors of
imaging services to develop andexecute local strategies that are
aligned with the system-wide strategicplan. --- Incollaboration
with the SVP of Clinical Service Lines develop short- and
long-range goals and objectives for system-wideimaging services.
--- Designdevelop and implement the imaging services business plan
to ensure a consistentand coordinated delivery of care. ---
Developand implement system-wide operational plan for Imaging
Services.--- Developstrategic system-wide 5 year capital plan.---
Evaluatefinancial performance of imaging services; recommend and
implement specificactions to optimize financial results. Provide
executive oversight for theSystem---s Radiation Control Program.---
Partnerclosely with the radiology Chiefs and Vice Chairs at
Lifespan. Develop and foster partnerships withthird-party
radiologists--- Provideexecutive leadership for system-wide imaging
services including directorsmanagers and 800+ employees.---
Driveinnovation and technology advancements within medical imaging
as it relates topatient care and patient records .--- Plan forlead
and/or sponsor efforts to design and implement process
improvementinitiatives for imaging services.Partners with Quality &
Safety and Lifespan stakeholders to use Lean Six Sigma and
otherapproaches and tools to streamline processes improve service
delivery andensure quality and safety for patients.Other
information:Requirements:--- Bachelor---sdegree required.
Master---s in businessadministration or like advanced degree
strongly preferred--- 5 plusyears of applicable experience.
Inaddition 7 years in a leadership role with clinical background in
healthcarestrongly preferred--- Knowledgeand understanding of
national issues related to Radiology practice preferred---
Strategicthinker with analytical problem-solving capabilities---
Theability to oversee and implement wide scale projects across a
large hospitalsystem--- Highlydeveloped thoughtful analytical
skills; ability to function at a high level ina fast-paced
environment--- Experiencedin managing complex operations at a
system level; ability to navigate largecomplex organizations---
Demonstratedskills in system thinking--- Proventrack record of
success influencing and building strong relationships at alllevels
of a complex organization--- Abilityto organize workload to provide
reliable follow-through and meettimelines/deadlines---
Experiencedin negotiations. Build upon existingpartnerships---
Experiencedwith data analysis and interpretation---
Strongbackground in OSHA and GMP requirements --- Proficiencywith
MS Office (Outlook Word Excel PowerPoint)--- ElectronicMedical
Record (EMR) experience preferred; Epic strongly preferredLifespan
