Compensation Overview
The annual base salary range provided for this position is a
nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries
for this role across the country. The actual salary for this
position will be determined by a number of factors, including the
scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education,
training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other
conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation
and benefits program, employees are also eligible for
performance-based cash incentive awards.
Salary Range
$92,200.00 - $152,200.00

What Is the Opportunity?
The Manager, Constitution State Services (CSS) is responsible for
assisting in the implementation and execution of the CSS vision and
strategy. The Manager, CSS may be involved with CSS clients and
will manage and strengthen the CSS infrastructure to ensure the
effective execution of commitments.
This position supports the hybrid work model within proximity of a
Travelers office.
What Will You Do?
Implement long and short-term business strategies to effectively
achieve profit and growth objectives.
Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal
resources (Claim, Risk Control, Operations, RMIS, Account
Executives, etc.) to coordinate the delivery of related services to
clients.
Participate in the development of strategic business planning
activities that are designed to increase the presence of CSS
products in the market to achieve overall growth and profit
objectives.
Meet with agency and fronting carrier personnel to establish,
maintain, and develop positive and productive relationships. Assure
that contractual commitments are met and that CSS is afforded ample
opportunity for business growth.
Work with other business units, as appropriate, to support CSS
needs and financial objectives.
Evaluate and manage fronting carrier relationships (credentialing,
contracts, RMIS needs) and respond to carrier and self-insured
claim inquiries and requests.
Assist with the evaluation of RFPs for new business opportunities
to determine if the prospect fits our preferred appetite (size,
industry, etc.) and capabilities.
Assist with the review of each new sold program to confirm that
proper documentation is in place and to ensure effective execution
of our commitments. Engage applicable business partners as
necessary.
Perform other duties as assigned.
What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?
Bachelor's degree
5 -7 years of experience with a TPA service industry, including
comprehensive knowledge of industry practices and company
operations and distribution channels.
Effective and adaptable communication skills and style: verbal,
written, personal presentation, and listening. Solid knowledge of
Microsoft products and the ability / willingness to learn and use
new technology.
Experience in using various automation tools and systems to
effectively support distribution system management.
Business Knowledge:
Knows how to get things done and acts with a sense of urgency.
Solid sales and influencing skills including the ability to close a
sale.
Superior negotiation skills
Clearly demonstrates specific knowledge requirements as defined by
business group.
Identifies customer needs and take appropriate action to meet those
needs.
Understands products, financials, objectives and service
requirements of business group and can act in a decisive manner to
achieve financial objectives.
Marketing and Pricing:
Solid knowledge of technical pricing as respects service products
and capabilities.
Demonstrated marketing skills necessary to achieve established and
stretch business goals.
Professionally current.
Works effectively with all levels and can easily build new
relationships.
Able to recognize opportunities to penetrate a new market, take
advantage of all important opportunities to increase market share
and takes intelligent risks.

Proven time management, planning and organizational skills.
Understands the business and responds to all related issues,
concerns and problems.
What is a Must Have?
5 years of experience within the Third Party Administration (TPA)
service industry with comprehensive knowledge of industry practices
and company operations and distribution channels.
3 years of TPA sales and/or claim experience.
