DescriptionThe RoleThe Senior Vice President, Global Chief
Compliance Officer is responsible for overseeing the global
corporate and regulatory compliance systems and functions across
Bally's Corporation and its affiliates (the "Company"). This
position will manage regulatory compliance risks, ensuring the
Company operates in compliance with global regulations and laws in
all jurisdictions. This position will also lead a global team that
is responsible for drafting and implementing global and functional
compliance plans, policies, and tracking metrics to measure and
assess regulatory compliance; and will track relevant changes to
state, federal, and international laws related to the gaming
industry. The position will report to the Compliance Committee of
the Company's Board of Directors.Responsibilities
- Develops and implements an effective global compliance
program
- Ensures business compliance with all relevant regulatory codes,
license requirements, regulatory guidance, and
legislation.
- Lead, manage and organize global complianceresources
andactivities across the Company
- Creates sound internal controls and monitors
compliance
- Drafts and revises Company policies
- Proactively assesses compliance related processes, practices,
and policies to identify and address deficiencies and areas of
opportunity
- Collaborates with legal counsel, finance, external auditors and
Human Resources and other functions to ensure a comprehensive
compliance program across all business and support
functions
- Keeps abreast of internal standards and business goals
- Remains up to date on international, federal and state laws
that relate to the Company's gaming operations globally.
- Collaborates with the Company's outside gaming counsel in all
jurisdictions
- Provide guidance, advice and training to business leaders and
compliance staff
- Serves as the point of contact for the Board's Compliance
Committee
- Maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders to
ensure business decisions are appropriate for customers,
shareholders, colleagues, and the communities in which the
organization operates.
- Act as a keybusinesspartner to the Company'sExecutive team
Qualifications
- Knowledge of the gaming industry, including casino operations,
retail and mobile sports wagering, and online gaming
- Familiarity with industry practices and professional
standards
- BSc/BA in finance, business administration or a related field,
or a JD in law
- Professional certification (e.g. Certified Compliance & Ethics
Professional (CCEP)) is a plus
- 10+ years' proven experience in a compliance officer or similar
role.
- Good knowledge of legal requirements and procedures.
- Prior experience with implementing a Gaming Compliance Review
and Reporting Plan common to gaming companies licensed in the State
of Nevada
- Prior experience with anti-money laundering compliance, both in
the U.S. and internationally
