You'll Add ValueThe Project Manager, along with the General
Superintendent, ensures the successful completion of commercial
-projects. The Project Manager guides, expedites, and administers
the work to organize and maintain the project schedule, budget, and
quality standards. This position reports directly to the Project
Executive. - -How You'll Get it Done
Drive the coordination and delivery
of construction projectsDevelop, monitor, and update the project
scheduleWork with Project Executive -to lead project start-up
activities including the assignment of team responsibilitiesManage
subcontractor/vendor scope review, buyout, and award of
projectsOversee work in place, and ensure work meets plans,
specifications, and expected qualityManage the project close-out
including punch list and final financial reconciliation -Monitor
the project financial position, including change orders status,
cash flow projections, monthly requisition, and monthly project
projections/Cost-to-CompleteEnsure that all change estimates and
change orders are processed and that contingency reporting reflects
up-to-date project informationAct as the main contact for all
project communications and establish communication methods and
norms for the construction team -Coordinate and lead weekly
-meetings to discuss progress to schedule, and resolve issues such
as budget, project scope, and timeline -Monitor adherence to job
site safety and quality standards and ensure that the project is in
compliance with applicable code and work standardsAddress
subcontractor's issues involving manpower, schedule, and
qualityReview and process trade contractor payment applicationsWork
with the Superintendent to ensure subcontractor compliance with the
Safety & Health Program.Support pre-construction activities
including budgeting, estimating, and developing of project
scheduleMaintain professional relationships with Owners,
Architects, and Engineers in support of business development and
obtaining new projectsWhat You're Bringing to the Table
Bachelor's degree in construction,
structural design, engineering; or, commensurate work experience---
-5+ years of experience in the Construction industry, including
project management--- -3+ years of experience managing construction
project financial controls and project schedules -Proficiency in
reading and understanding plans and specifications--- -Proficiency
in Microsoft Office, Procore, and construction accounting software
(Sage 300, Timberscan) -Knowledge of project financials (invoice
approval, requisitions, internal reporting) -OSHA 30 certification
is required within 60 days of hire -Site Specific is an Equal
