Job Description:
Position Summary:EG America is seeking a highly experienced and
motivated Director of Enterprise PMO to lead our Project Management
Office. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing
strategic direction, developing, and implementing PMO processes and
methodologies, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects
across the organization. This role will report directly to the
President of EG America and will work closely with senior
leadership to align the PMO's objectives with the organization's
strategic goals. -EG America is a convenience store operator with
nearly 1,700 company owned and operated locations across the United
States. - EG America's store support center is located in
Westborough, MA.Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement PMO strategies, processes, and
methodologies to ensure consistent, high-quality project management
across the organization.
- Establish and maintain project management governance
frameworks, including project selection, prioritization,
initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure
processes.
- Oversee the management and tracking of the organization's
project portfolio, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and
goals.
- Develop and implement project management training and
development programs to enhance project management skills and
competencies across the organization.
- Provide guidance and support to project managers and project
teams, ensuring adherence to organizational project management
standards and methodologies.
- Monitor and report on project and PMO performance using defined
key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide regular updates to
senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to identify and address
project-related issues, risks, and opportunities.
- Recruit, manage, and develop PMO staff, ensuring roles and
responsibilities are clearly defined and aligned with
organizational goals.
- Continuously evaluate and improve PMO processes, methodologies,
and tools to ensure ongoing effectiveness and adaptability.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and
project management excellence within the PMO
Requirements & Qualifications:Minimum Education: -Bachelor's degree
in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related
field.Minimum Experience: -Minimum of 10 years of experience in
project management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
within a PMO.Licenses/Certifications: -PMP (Project Management
Professional), PgMP (Program Management Professional), or
equivalent certification is desired.Soft Skills/Competencies: -
- Proven experience in developing and implementing PMO processes,
methodologies, and governance frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of project management principles,
methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile, Scrum), and tools (e.g., MS
Project, Smartsheet, Jira).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills,
with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at
all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making
skills.
- Experience in managing project portfolios and aligning projects
with organizational strategy and goals.
- Familiarity with industry-specific regulations, standards, or
best practices is a plus.
