The Role
In the role of Director Investment Sales Readiness, you will provide primary support to the Intermediary Investment Client Group organization from strategic direction setting to end state implementation and execution.\u00A0 The team plays a critical role in helping the Intermediary Investment Client Group and the broader FI organization execute against strategic initiatives and priorities.This includes the following key elements:

  • Driving cross-team coordination to implement Intermediary Investment Client Group strategic initiatives.
  • Partnering with distribution leaders on client segmentation, client coverage and sales process enhancements to drive efficiencies across team.
  • Providing support to distribution leaders in evaluating effectiveness of distribution team execution in achieving sales goals and FI KPIs.\u00A0 Partnering closely with Business Intelligence Reporting and Data Analytics teams to develop requirements and prioritize work.
  • Partnering across functional groups within Market Readiness team and broader FI teams on Product, Technology, Marketing and Finance related efforts.

    The Expertise and Skills You Bring

    • 5 years plus of relevant work experience in a distribution function or a functional partner role
    • Bachelor s Degree
    • Series 7, 63 Licenses Preferred/Required within 90 days
    • Experience in demonstrating leadership/influence and collaboration both direct team members and matrixed partners across multiple and diverse groups
    • Strong understanding of the different business units within a large financial services institution such as Fidelity
    • Excellent engagement skills, including the ability to work across the organization and interact/influence/negotiate effectively at all levels of management and peers
    • Critical thinking with excellent judgment and strong initiative
    • Learning attitude; positive approach to experimentation and failure

      The Team
      The Director, Investment Sales Readiness role is a critical member of the Market Readiness organization. Market Readiness is responsible for planning and enabling the execution of organizational initiatives that help our clients and prospects engage effectively with FI. Key partners include leadership across Intermediary Sales & Relationship Management, Business Intelligence Reporting & Data Analytics, Marketing, Finance and Technology.
