Job Description:

Purpose: Responsible for the timely and accurate set up and ongoing maintenance of the product and supplier data records; manage all components of incoming supplier cost, logistic changes and freight reviews; is the final control point for the validation of all necessary new supplier legal documentation and verification of certificates for new product claims; is responsible for processing future cost and freight, changes in accordance with current company margin policies. Presents and undertakes continuous improvement opportunities within the Product Data Management team.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Provide needed analysis and reporting as requested for special projects, create tools to provide needed assessments.Maintain department documentation as necessary. Review, resolve and provide any needed documentation for audits and questions.Research and respond to all item questions in assigned area, including product and brand discrepancies; resolve with all needed documentation.Work within MDM workflow tool to complete new item and supplier set up and maintenance.Assist with department training, SOP updates and daily questions as needed.Research and analyze current product and supplier data files for set up decisions.Validate new supplier legal documentation for adherence to current guidelines.Validate new product certificates for product claims.Communicate with supplier and/or broker for needed documentation or questions relating to the completion of new item set up.Process pack, UPC and product changes.Maintain and save new supplier and product information to assigned locations.Update department spreadsheets with new supplier information and price/freight information.Process pack, UPC and product changes.Distribute supplier and product documentation.Communicate completed items and current issues to SRMs/Merchants.Run reports from the business system and MRS.Execute cost and freight changes in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner.Execute cost maintenance and brackets.Research Mass Approval Error reports and take appropriate action.Analyze report data to confirm change is reasonable, accurate and no locations or items were missed.Reconcile costing variances in Prompt accurately and timelyResearch ePASS disputes identifying cause and take appropriate action for resolution.Research and resolve cost discrepancies and product issues with inventory control, customer service and SRM/merchandising.Perform other administrative and clerical functions as needed and checks own work for accuracy.Performs other relevant job duties as required.JOB REQUIREMENTS:Education/Certification:Bachelor s Degree or equivalence in job experienceExperience:Minimum 2 years
