Job Description:
Participates in business integrated and technology led audit
plans and contributes to the execution of broader enterprise
Information Technology (IT) audit projects -- cybersecurity, Cloud
computing, and digital infrastructure. Performs Agile audits and
evaluates risk -- technology, financial, reputational, and
regulatory. Manages and performs data driven risk based audit
assessments of key systems and applications. Primary Responsibilities: Develops data analyses and applies automated tools to provide
management with proper context of potential exposure and loss of
business due to control weaknesses. Decomposes complex systems to provide insight to audit and risk
partners. Develops ongoing trusted advisor relationship with audit clients
and internal audit business unit colleagues to ensure timely and
consistent controls advise. Provides clear and concise communication when reporting on a
project topic or status. Tests controls designed to mitigate risk. Devises solutions for business improvements and follows-up on
corrective actions. Supports planning and execution of multiple concurrent audits
and analytics projects. Mentors junior team members. Develops automated reports for distribution across the
department. Education and Experience: Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer
Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems,
Mathematics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of
experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience
performing complex IT audits in a financial services
environment. Or, alternatively, Masters degree (or foreign education
equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information
Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a closely related
field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or one (1)
year of experience performing complex IT audits in a financial
services environment. Skills and Knowledge: Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (DE) performing ad-hoc data analyses,
modeling, automation, reporting, and platform management --
automating data pipelines between Oracle, SQL Server, Mainframe
Z/OS, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and building effective analytical
and visualization solutions, using Tableau, PowerBI, and Excel. DE performing data loss prevention analytics in email, Cloud
service providers (Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure), and
end-point vulnerability domains; and assessing completeness and
correctness of Linux server configuration files, active directory
memberships, and evidence of appropriate access and due diligence
annual reviews, using Python, PowerShell, Microsoft SQL Server,
Oracle, and Splunk. DE performing comprehensive text metadata analytics for use
cases -- monitoring business referral policies and discoverable
patterns in outgoing email traffic -- using Python and PySpark. DE analyzing and recreating an outlier detection system
incorporating data from 30+ heterogeneous cross company sources,
