Job Description:
Designs test cases, using automation scripting, script
execution, and functional testing of the User Interface (UI) of Web
services and mobile applications. Reviewing test case effectiveness
against business requirements, using Angular, TypeScript, CSS,
HTMI,, and JavaScript. Coordinates with the development team and
client users to create detailed testing requirements for mobile
applications using automation databases and frameworks -- Selenium,
Protractor, Cucumber, ReadyAPl, and REST. Ensures test execution
and captures test results accurately using TestFlight. Assists with
planning, designing, and executing testing within a complex
project. Primary Responsibilities: Creates test plans, data, procedures, and manual and/or
automated scripts. Participates in formal reviews of application designs, business,
and functional requirements. Participates in code reviews. Writes complete and accurate reports on software problems. Identifies and suggests quality process improvements focused on
defect prevention. Creates systems and business relevant test cases. Ensures test environment reflects business requirements for test
execution. Assists in development of in-house test tools. Executes manual and/or automated test scripts for most complex
projects. Works with project team to establish testing entrance and exit
criteria. Ensures execution of project regression test tasks. Establishes project plans for projects of moderate scope. Works directly with the user community for project
definition. Performs independent and complex technical and functional
analysis for multiple projects supporting several initiatives. Recommends strategies and methods to improve test plans and test
processes. Analyzes and reports test status and results. Identifies test issues and reports to project manager and
business. Defines regression tests, and production verification and
validation for future projects. Education and Experience: Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer
Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems,
Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3)
years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of
experience creating automated test solutions in a digital brokerage
solutions environment. Or alternatively, Masters degree (or foreign education
equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information
Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely
related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or
one (1) year of experience creating automated test solutions in a
digital brokerage solutions environment. Skills and Knowledge: Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (DE) developing mobile automation
frameworks for iOS and Android tablets/smartphones using Appium and
SeeTest mobile Cloud solutions; executing and maintaining test
automation scripts through Pyramid model of testing via User
Interfaces (UIs), API, and back-end layers; and performing
functional and regression validations on hybrid/native applications
built on Ionic/Angular frameworks using Eclipse, Cucumber,
RestAssured, and Java. DE performing DevOps Continuous Integration (CI) -- source
control management -- using Docker with pipeline, Jenkins, Git
Stash, Maven, and uDeploy; performing Cloud/Infrastructure
monitoring and logging mechanisms, using Splunk, Dynatrace,
Firebase, and Datadog within an Agile development environment;
creating and maintaining automated pipelines using Jenkins and
Seetest mobile automated tests to drive application code changes
within a quality assurance environment. DE performing automated functional and regression testing of
fractional based trading, market place simulators, periodic based
investments, money movement transactions, EWS and real time equifax
integrations, and 2FA authentication for fraud identifications,
customer account maintenance, and biometrics for
login/authentication within a digital brokerage services domain
using Appium and Seetest mobile cloud solutions. DE performing all stages of the development/testing lifecycle --
unit, integration, functional, and acceptance testing on legacy
mainframe applications -- using languages (COBOL, JCL, PL/1, and
Assembler), tools (Panvalet, Putty, Command Center, Platinum for
Db2, TRUN, and Viasoft ) and databases (IBM DB2, IMS DB/DC, and
