Job Description:
Position Description: Leads the technical architecture, design, and creation of
innovative, resilient, scalable, and quality Web-based
applications. Leads and provides technical leadership to teams in
the development, deployment, and upkeep of digital applications,
using Cloud, Server-side, and Client side technologies Amazon Web
Services (AWS), Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, NodeJS, GraphQL, App Sync,
JSON, Angular , VueJS, CSS3, Web Components, Micro Front End
design, WebPack Tomcat, Express, and ApolloServer. Provides
technical leadership and mentorship for future architectural
roadmaps by recommending new technologies and participating in
day-to-day solution development. Primary Responsibilities: Crafts and facilitates the technical architecture of digital
applications while crafting future roadmaps. Designs and builds key components of digital experiences. Provides guidance on standard application development
methodologies to development teams. Facilitates and presents key initiatives, architectural
solutions, and roadmaps to the architectural group. Designs Cloud based/enabled solutions to address business needs
in existing infrastructure to help cut the cost of implementation
of resilient and scalable solutions. Deescalates business problems into creative, efficient, and
scalable solutions. Articulates and presents architecture solutions to management
teams. Prepares design artifacts and implements solutions. Collaborates across the enterprise to drive key business
initiatives. Analyzes information to determine, recommend, and plan
installation of a new system or modification of an existing
system. Analyzes user needs and software requirements to determine
feasibility of design within time and cost constraints. Confers with data processing or data architects to obtain
information on limitations or capabilities for data processing
projects. Sets vision, goals, and direction of teams towards a goal for
the organization. Plans and leads organization-wide initiatives. Provides technical leadership, technical supervision, and
expertise to multiple teams in brad technical areas on complex
organization-wide projects. Oversees the technical implementation of cross-divisional of
company architectural components. Confers with systems analysts, engineers, programmers and others
to design systems and to obtain information on project limitations
and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces. Develops and directs software system testing and validation
procedures, programming, and documentation. Education and Experience: Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer
Science, Applied Computer Science, Engineering, Information
Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely
related field and six (6) years of experience in the job offered or
six (6) years of experience developing Human Resource (HR) payroll
and Benefits products in Java/J2EE. Or, alternatively, Masters degree (or foreign education
equivalent) in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science,
Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems,
Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and four (4) years
of experience in the job offered or four (4) years of experience
developing Human Resource (HR) payroll and Benefits products in
Java/J2EE. Skills and Knowledge: Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (DE) architecting, designing, and
developing resilient, scalable, test driven, and Enterprise
multi-tiered rich interface Web applications, using Server Side
technologies (J2EE, Spring, NodeJS, and GraphQL), Visual Studio
Code, and Eclipse as an Integrated Development Environment
(IDE). DE architecting, designing, and developing responsive and test
driven Web applications, using client-side frameworks (Angular,
Vuejs, and LitElements), programming languages (JavaScript,
TypeScript, HTML, and CSS3), and front-end module bundling and
tooling frameworks (Webpack). DE creating resilient, secure, and scalable applications in
Cloud, using API Gateway, Serverless design, Fine grained access
control, Event Driven architecture, Kubernetes, and Docker
according to standard design principles and DevOps processes (to
enable faster time to market). DE architecting, designing, and developing RESTful APIs for
mission critical applications reusing centralized authorization and
