Job Description:
Delivers new and enhanced applications and identifies and
communicates systems development processes, using enterprise
application architecture patterns and orchestration frameworks --
Apache Camel, Apache Tomcat, Spring MVC/Spring Boot, Logback,
SLF4j, and Maven. Crafts, builds, tests, and delivers global
digital experiences. Maintains alignment with standard
methodologies -- Object-Oriented Design (ODD), coding standards,
RESTful service consumption, and integration, common design
patterns, secure application development, and test coverage.
Provides business solutions by developing complex or multiple
software applications. Primary Responsibilities: Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going
development efforts. Designs applications or subsystems on major projects and for/in
multiple platforms. Develops applications for multiple projects supporting several
divisional initiatives. Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to
implementation. Assists in the planning and conducting of user acceptance
testing. Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications
supporting several corporate initiatives. Responsible for post-installation testing of any problems. Establishes project plans for projects of moderate scope. Works on complex assignments and often multiple phases of a
project. Performs independent and complex technical and functional
analysis for multiple projects supporting several initiatives. Education and Experience: Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer
Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems,
Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3)
years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of
experience analyzing, designing, developing, unit testing, and
deploying micro-services Springboot applications, using Ansible and
Jenkins configurations. Or alternatively, Masters degree (or foreign education
equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information
Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely
related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or
one (1) year of experience analyzing, designing, developing, unit
testing, and deploying micro-services Springboot applications,
using Ansible and Jenkins configurations. Skills and Knowledge: Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (DE) developing distributed, rich,
low-latency digital applications within the financial services
industry, using Java and J2EE technologies -- Spring Boot;
performing User Interface (UI) development, using CSS and
JavaScript; deploying digital applications to development and
integration environments using Jenkins pipelines; and performing
unit testing of Web applications, using Jasmine, karma, and Junit
open-source frameworks. DE analyzing, designing, developing, testing, and implementing
client/server applications, using Apache Camel, Apache Tomcat, and
Angular; automating end-to-end workflows, and defining and building
API integrations, using Jenkins and Ansible; and building,
maintaining, and automating Amazon Web Services (AWS). DE creating and maintaining release management applications
using Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
processes; providing support to release management applications
after release; analyzing and resolving end-user bugs by debugging
code, using Eclipse and VSCode; and analyzing error logs to locate
the origin of bugs/problems and resolve them without impacting
other modules. DE implementing, testing, and debugging highly scaled secure
Agile platform services according to Agile methodologies;
automating startup scripts (during patching) for micro-services
application deployed on Red Hat Linux servers; and acting as a
member of a full-stack engineering team -- developing, designing,
analyzing, testing, and validating distributed applications, using
