Job Description:

A hospital in Rhode Island needs a child/adolescent ED psychiatrist. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, or similar hours, and they will also consider part time availabilities. Call will be four to five weekends a year that will involve rounding and be paid extra, also eight to nine weekday nights per year that are phone-only (not paid extra). There will also be an opportunity for leadership over time. The incoming ED psychiatrist will supervise NPs. You will enjoy a full staff of child psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers. Candidates must be board certified in psychiatry and have completed a C/A fellowship within five years of training.

This employed position offers a compensation that will be based on experience. You will also receive relocation assistance, a sign-on bonus, medic/dental/vision benefits, LTD and STD, 6 weeks of PTO to start, 5 days of CME and $6,000 allowance, a 401k retirement plan with match, and malpractice with tail coverage.
