Smithfield NC is located thirty minutes east of Raleigh. UNC Physicians Network (UNCPN) in partnership with Johnston UNC is seeking a full time family medicine physician to join UNC Primary Care Smithfield. This practice meets and exceeds the challenges of providing care to significant patient needs with complex clinical management, patient complexities and chronic disease management. Experienced physicians preferred but will consider new grads. Practice Site:

• Lean Management--
• Large patient population w/ chronic disease management--
• EMR - EPIC
• Adjacent Lab--
• 1 MD, 2 NP (1 NP serving acute only patients, Dietician and Social Worker
• Full Time = 36 hours/weekly - Flexible Schedules-- Compensation Package Includes:--

    Education Requirements:
    --- Active member of the Rex Hospital Medical Staff, including meeting the Board Certification requirements. Graduation from an accredited school of medicine.
    Licensure/Certification Requirements:
    --- Board certified in area of specialty; MD License in healthcare specialty
    --- DEA;ACLS;BCLS;MD
    Professional Experience Requirements:
    --- Prefer prior experience in Internal Medicine
    Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:
    --- Language Skills: Should be able to communicate proficiently in English.REASONING ABILITYHigh-level quantitative and qualitative reason skills are essential in order to diagnosis medical and clinical issues presented by patients.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSNorth Carolina Medical License, DEA License, BLS/ACLS certification preferred.
