About Our School Programs: The Grace School, Carter School and Early Learning Center provide inclusive education for students ages 6 weeks to 22 years old of all abilities, including those with severe cognitive, developmental, and physical disabilities and complex medical conditions. Our school programs believe the dignity of each person is paramount, recognizing that our schools future strength rests firmly on our commitment to recognize, respect and uphold the dignity of all our students, their families and our faculty and staff. In this role, you will: * Perform skilled nursing procedures for students aged 0-22 with complex medical conditions and/or severe disabilities including, but not limited to, medication administration, G-Tube feedings, catheterizations, respiratory treatments, dialysis, dressing changes, wound care, trach care, suctioning, etc. * Assists the Head Nurse in conducting nursing assessments and developing nursing care plans which reflect the students needs and the unique nature of his/her condition(s) * Accompany students off-campus for job training and placements, and class field trips, and monitor for safety * Ensure that students going off-campus have all required medications, epi-pens or other emergency response equipment, and feedings as needed * Perform ongoing health status evaluations and medication/treatment reviews in order to identify health needs and potential problems * Communicate timely updates to parents, teachers and therapy staff regarding health concerns or changes in the health status of the student. Scheduled Hours: This is a fully benefit eligible position working thirty (30) hours weekly.
