Job DescriptionSchedule: Full Time, M-F: 8a-4:30p Job
Summary:Work on a multidisciplinary team providing behavioral
health and crisis assessment to consumers at The Providence Center
and in the community.Responsibilities:Perform a comprehensive
psychosocial assessment of assigned consumers.Provide individual
mental health and/or substance abuse treatment and crisis
assessment.Collaborate with other providers, agencies, and
individuals in the consumers' network of care.Perform record
keeping in accordance with Health Information Services and other
Center requirements.Attend trainings, case presentations and
conferences.Maintain cooperative relationships with Center staff,
consumers, community agencies and the public.Other duties may be
assigned.Occasional Duties: Serve on appropriate Center
committees.Provide mental health consultation to other community
agencies.Requirements:Master's degree in Clinical Counseling,
Social Work, or related field.License and/or QMHP Preferred. LICSW
or LMHC preferred but not required. QMHP Preferred.Insured auto and
valid driver's license.Ability to write reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively with consumers, community agencies and
Center employees.Ability to apply commonsense understanding to
carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.Ability to
deal with problems involving several concrete variables in
standardized situations. Physical Demands: While performing the
duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and
talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk;
use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls;
reach with hands and arms; and taste or smell. The employee must
occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision
abilities required by this job include close vision, distance
vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the
