Urgent Care - Req # 72689NP/PA - Urgent Care - Seekonk, MA Under direction of individually assigned Physician, Office Manager or Designee, perform a wide variety of patient care and related duties both within and in support of Southcoast Physicians Group. Including, but not limited to taking patient histories, conduct physical exams, review past medical records, complete electronic health records, order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic studies; explain necessity, preparation, nature and anticipated effects of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to the patient and family; perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures; review results of studies and procedures and interpret results toward quality patient care. May provide functional or technical supervision over other employees in the same or closely related classification, where scope of responsibility is limited to occasional direction, guidance, explanation, etc.We are a fast-paced, established, patient centered practice that provides quality care to our patients.Hours: 36 hours (Modified Full-time)
Shift: Day Shift 8:00am - 8:00pm / 9:00am - 5:00pm Weekends & Holidays

Education and/or Experience Requirements:

• 
  
• Physician Assistant: Bachelor's Degree in a related field is required. Graduate of an A.M.A.-approved Physician Assistant program is required. Certification by the National Commission of Physician Assistants within one year of hire is required
• Family Nurse Practitioner: Master of Science Degree in Nursing is required. Family Nurse Practitioner required to see patients of all ages. Certification from a National accrediting body to practice as a Nurse Practitioner is required. Current Massachusetts R.N. registration is required.
• Rhode Island Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant License is required.
• Over three months experience
• ACLS/BLS required
