  Job Responsibilities
  
  • 
    
  • Administering nursing care in post-acute facilities throughout the Providence area, including Johnston, Warwick, and surrounding areas
    
  • Assessing the vital signs and overall physical and mental conditions of residents
    
  • Monitoring, verifying, and administering medications (under appropriate supervision)
    
  • Reviewing medical charts and records for residents
    
  • Interviewing residents about medical problems and documenting their medical history
    
  • Performing immunizations and assisting in phlebotomy and IV set-up
    
  • Supporting the overall comfort and safety of residents
    
  • Maintaining and monitoring the supply of medical equipment
    
  • Assisting in the training and orientation of medical staff members
    Qualifications and Skills
    
    • 
      
    • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
      
    • Graduation from approved LPN educational program
      
    • Current state LPN license
      
    • Minimum of 4 months' experience (post-acute care or in-patient hospital environments)
