We are seeking a *Registered Nurse *to join our *Med/Surg* unit at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, RI. You will provide high-quality nursing care to patients and report and document patient responses to treatment.*Responsibilities:* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement treatment plans for patients and ensure they are receiving the best possible care Assist in leading the unit by delegating, supervising and participating in direct patient and nursing care Participate in quality improvement, research and educational opportunities for the unit Serve as a role model and mentor to new graduate nurses and less experienced personnel within the unit Assume the responsibilities of the charge nurse as needed*Why join Lifespan?* A staffing model that helps keeps our RN-to-patient ratio at 1:6*Qualifications*: Bachelors degree in nursing preferred Demonstrated knowledge of providing care to patients throughout the patient life span Current RI RN license*Working at Lifespan*At Lifespan, we utilize a multidisciplinary team approach to medicine and provide the right blend of autonomy and collaboration.
