Job Description:

An established practice in Providence, RI is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join their urgent care team. Local candidates with 2+ years urgent care or emergency medicine experience will be considered first.*Responsibilities:** Provide clinic based care to pediatric-geriatric patients* 3x12 hour shifts per week* Full-time and part-time hours available* One weekend per month* Conduct thorough patient evaluations and assessments* Diagnose conditions through physical examinations, medical imaging, and laboratory tests* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care*Qualifications:** Rhode Island State License* 2+ years of experience in urgent care or emergency medicine* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail* Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively* Proficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems* Passion for community health and patient-centered care*Benefits:** Competitive base salary and quarterly incentives* Health insurance (medical, dental, vision)* Retirement plan with 5% match* Flexible paid time off* CME allowance* Malpractice insurance including tail coverage* Loan repayment eligibleNote: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
