Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Rhode Island Hospital. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes.Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and implement nursing care plans in accordance with established hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team, patient, and family to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of patient care and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement and research activities to enhance patient care and outcomes.
• Utilize all available resources to provide quality, cost-effective patient care.
• Meet and maintain clinical competencies measured by pre-determined credentialing standards, mandatory/safety education, and completion of Basic Life Support and ACLS/PALS as appropriate.Requirements
  • Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Rhode Island by the Rhode Island Board of Nursing or licensure as a Registered Nurse in accordance with the Nurse Licensure Compact agreement of the National Council of State Boards of Nursing.
  • Baccalaureate in Nursing preferred.
  • Must have current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Rhode Island.Work Environment and Physical Requirements
    • Visual and aural ability to monitor patient status.
    • Physical ability to assist in lifting and positioning patients.
    • Exposed to patient care environment.
