• Employment Type: TravelOverviewWe are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various medical settings, including emergency rooms, long-term care facilities, and hospice care. As an LPN, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting with patient assessments, and ensuring that all medical protocols are followed to maintain the safety and well-being of our patients.Duties
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor and record vital signs to assess patient health status.
  • Assist in patient assessments and develop care plans based on individual needs.
  • Provide basic life support as needed during emergencies.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals in a Level II Trauma Center environment to deliver critical care.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with medical office standards.
  • Offer compassionate support to patients and their families, particularly in hospice care settings.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.Qualifications
    • Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice.
    • Experience in emergency room settings or critical care preferred but not required.
    • Proficiency in performing patient assessments and monitoring vital signs.
    • Knowledge of basic life support techniques and protocols.
    • Previous experience in long-term care or hospice care is a plus.
    • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
