outcomes for your patients as a (an) RN Coordinator Trauma PI. We
want your knowledge and expertise!Job Summary And QualificationsThe
Trauma PI Coordinator is responsible for accurately performing
hospital-based data collection and injury scaling and providing
trauma-related data to the trauma service team. The position also
monitors each trauma case through the continuum of care within the
Hospital to identify cases, extract necessary information and
report it for inclusion in the trauma registry database in an
accurate and timely manner.What you will do in this role:
- Assist in the development, implementation and evaluation of the
Trauma Performance Improvement and Patient Safety Plan.
- Maintain the Trauma PI database to ensure adequate
documentation as required by regulatory agencies.
- Complete concurrent review of cases to identify quality,
timelines and systems of care to meet state standards.
- Participate in hospital education programs for nurses and
resident physicians caring for trauma patients.
- Serve as a liaison to the clinical areas responsible for trauma
patients.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary monthly Trauma Systems &
Operations Committee and Peer Review meetings.What qualifications
you will need:
- Active NH Registered Nurse license or compact Registered Nurse
license
- Associate Degree in Nursing, Bachelors Degree preferred
- 3 or more years of related experience
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days
of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support
- PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 30 days of
employment start date
- Trauma Nursing Core Course must be obtained within 30 days of
