Ideal for experienced Telemetry RNs and Travel RNs seeking acute care and float pool experience in the Greater Boston / Massachusetts area. Job Details - Location: Salem, MA 01970 (Greater Boston area) - Role: Travel Telemetry RN / Travel RN (Float Pool) - Setting: Acute Care Hospital – Med/Surg Telemetry Units (float between multiple units) - Assignment Length: 13 weeks (April 19, 2026 – July 18, 2026) - Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed - Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts (Days/Evenings/Nights; rotations to nights as needed) - Estimated Weekly Pay: $1910-$2010 - Perks: Free on-site parking; hands-on float pool experience across Med/Surg, ED border, acute mental health, and ICU transfer-ready units Qualifications / Job Requirements - Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license required - American Heart Association BLS certification required - Minimum 1 year acute care hospital experience required; 2 years telemetry or Med/Surg telemetry experience preferred - Proficiency in cardiac telemetry monitoring (measuring intervals and interpreting strips q4h) - Experience with cardiac drips and reading telemetry strips (Telemetry RN skills) - TR Band experience preferred - EPIC EMR experience preferred (hospital RN documentation) - Ability and flexibility to float between up to 8 different units as needed Key Responsibilities - Provide high-quality telemetry nursing care across Med/Surg Telemetry units as a float pool RN - Monitor cardiac rhythms, manage cardiac drips, and interpret telemetry strips accurately - Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for a diverse acute care patient population - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, respiratory therapy, case management) to optimize patient outcomes - Maintain accurate, timely documentation in EPIC EMR and follow unit-specific protocols - Adapt quickly to different unit workflows and priorities while ensuring patient safety - Administer medications and provide patient education related to cardiac conditions and post-procedure care Why This Telemetry Nursing Job This Travel Telemetry RN assignment offers broad clinical exposure across multiple units, excellent professional development for telemetry nursing careers, and the chance to work in historic Salem with easy access to Boston.
