Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Location: Somerville, MA Agency: Jackson Therapy Partners Pay: $1,684 to $1,884 per week Shift Information: 5 days x 8 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Make a meaningful impact as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with an established travel healthcare partner. We are seeking an experienced LCSW to provide inpatient adolescent psychiatric care, advocate for patients, and coordinate access to clinical and community resources. This role requires teamwork, clinical judgment, and the ability to work in a dynamic psychiatric milieu. Minimum Qualifications Master’s degree in social work (MSW) from an accredited program. Current LCSW licensure in good standing with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts or compact-acceptable license where applicable. Minimum two years of supervised clinical experience, including work with adolescents or inpatient psychiatric populations preferred. Experience in inpatient psychiatric settings or with behavioral health units, including familiarity with ADLs, vital signs, and crisis response procedures. Certifications required by client: CPI (orientation) and BLS. Candidate must be local: within 50 miles of Somerville, MA. Local candidates only as required by client. Must be available to work every other weekend and every other major holiday as scheduled. Ability and willingness to float between inpatient psychiatric units as needed. Flu vaccination required during flu season as a condition of assignment. Assignment Details Facility type: Hospital - Inpatient Psychiatry (Adolescent unit). Unit: Inpatient Psych, 5 West Adolescent (patient ages typically 13–17; licensed 3–17 with waivers possible). Shift type: Flex shifts. 8-hour shifts, varied schedule (no block scheduling). Schedule requirements: Must work every other weekend and every other major holiday. Floating: Frequent float between 5E and 5W and may float to other units as needed. Additional Job Information The Milieu Counselor functions under RN supervision to maintain a safe, structured therapeutic environment for adolescents in crisis. Responsibilities include observation, assisting with activities of daily living, administering de-escalation techniques per CPI training, participating in multidisciplinary team meetings, and supporting treatment plan implementation.
