Join a fast-paced urgent care network with strong support staff and modern resources. This assignment offers consistent hours, diverse patient cases, and the opportunity to sharpen procedural skills in a high-volume outpatient setting.

Assignment Details

• Location: Providence, Rhode Island
• Start Date: June 2026
• Duration: Through September 2026
• Schedule:
  • 3 shifts per week (34-36 hours/week)
  • 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM shifts
  • Every other weekend required (8:00 AM - 6:00 PM)
• Setting: Outpatient Urgent Care

What You'll Do

• Provide urgent care services for patients ages 18 months and older
• Manage 33-38 patient encounters per 12-hour shift
• Perform procedures such as laceration repair, abscess drainage, and other minor interventions
• Interpret basic X-rays (radiologist over-read available within 30-60 minutes)
• Work across 3 nearby clinic locations with schedule provided in advance
• Collaborate with MAs, radiology techs, and patient service representatives

Requirements

• Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
• Active Rhode Island license preferred (licensure candidates considered)
• Minimum 2 years of urgent care or relevant experience required
• Comfortable with high patient volume and minor procedures
• Ability to float between nearby clinic locations
