Position: The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for managing the environment in the dispensaries in order to balance operational goals with the hospitality and service standards. This role will work closely with the Store Manager to ensure that all operational standards are met and continually improved upon by utilizing coaching skills to set clear expectations and goals for all staff members. In the absence of the Store Manager, the Assistant Store Manager will be expected to step into the leadership role and ensure seamless operation of the dispensary.
Duties, Authority, and Supervision: Reports directly to the Store ManagerSupervises Guides and Lead Guides
Responsibilities: Maintains dispensary operations by adhering to NETA Policies & Procedures for the daily operation of the dispensary and fully comply with state medical and recreational cannabis regulationsWorks closely with the Store Manager to scrutinize the daily operations of the dispensary, continuously looking for inefficiencies and identifying improvementsAble to successfully handle all state inspections and, In the absence of the Store Manager, the Assistant Store Manager will be the point person for all inspectionsWorking in conjunction with the Store Manager, the Assistant works to meet or exceed all financial goals for the location through effective partnerships, coaching and continuous improvementSupervises, leads, and inspires staff through coaching, implementation, and development of training and example settingOversees store operational requirements, including scheduling Team Leads to ensure proper floor coverage and management of client experienceEnsures that new processes, efficiencies initiatives, and improvements are executed in a timely wayCoaches, counsels, and applies disciplinary action when necessary Ensures staff maintain privacy and confidentiality of sensitive patient information at all timesImmediately address any customer conflict or complaint, inspiring long-term patient relationships and loyalty to our brandUtilize the point of sale record-keeping system to maintain and manage patient records and other important informationIs an active presence on the sales floor to maintain an understanding of areas of success and opportunityVerifies completion of the daily reconciliation process between the state system and point of sale system for medical patientsOther duties and tasks as assigned
---Qualifications: Age 21 or over (Required) High School diploma or equivalent (Required) Valid Driver's License or State-Issued Photo ID (Required) Minimum of one year of experience in a Lead Guide or proven ability to lead a large and complex team of 50+ employeesKnowledge of basic computer skills including the Google Suite, LeafLogix, Sticky Guide, and cash management.Able to work a flexible schedule that will vary as operational needs changeExcellent leadership, interpersonal, follow up, follow-through, and multi-tasking skills.Ability to work well under pressure and respond to any situation with calm professionalismMaintains the stamina and resilience needed to be a consistent and effective leader at NETA
Physical capability: Ability to walk/stand for prolonged periods of time, and perform computer processing operations. Must be able to accommodate a varying schedule based on operational needs. Ability to handle stress in performing multiple tasks. Ability to lift 30 lbs. unassisted
