FRONT OF THE HOUSE TEAM LEADER--is--the ambassador each shift that exemplifies customer service + hospitality. Is the--liaisonbetween supervisors, senior mgt., company (policies, mission, goals, culture, product), fellow team members, patrons & our restaurant space. Leads the team in a successful day-to-day operation for all front of the house duties, hospitality expectations, and liaison with the back of the house operations. Understands and is able to be the leader in all expectations of this role including customer service, hospitality, knowledge of company and product/menu, daily set-up/breakdown, and timely execution of all incoming orders (online, phone, in-house). Be able to maintain the utmost care in leading the team by superb hospitality to your crew & every customer, encourage positive team re-enforcement, and delegate tasks in a respectful manner. Assist & develop crew, provide exceptional customer service, and maintain procedures set by senior management as well as uphold our standard for cleanliness of the entire store including the equipment, outside & storage areas.--The personality to embrace this position must value respect, knowledge, positivity, & cleanliness.She/he must understand that you are the liaison that leads the team, embraces our product with the utmost knowledge, and can embody a genuine hospitality environment on each shift.Qualifications:*--------------------Solid References*----------------TWO Years' Experience in the FOH--or BOH--of a restaurant*--------------------Outstanding Interpersonal skills*--------------------Hospitable and Hospitality Driven*--------------------Positive*--------------------Team Player*--------------------Have a sense of Urgency--*--------------------Able to function at an even keel at high stress moments--*--------------------Able to multi-task*--------------------Amazing Customer Service Skills*--------------------Clean driving record, valid driver's license, and reliable transportation*--------------------Food Safety Certified that is recognized in the State of Rhode Island*--------------------Allergy Certified Preferred*--------------------Serve Safe Alcohol Certification*--------------------Able to Lift up to 75lbs.*--------------------Commit to at least 1-year of Employment (at least three shifts a week)Main Accountabilities:--In addition to following Tallulah's policies and procedures, principal accountabilities include, but are not limited to:*--------------------Leading the team in successful day-to-day operations*--------------------Holds the customer and fellow team with the highest respect and regards*--------------------Positive Role Model regarding customer service + hospitality--FRONT OF THE HOUSE TEAM LEADERMain Accountabilities:--In addition to following Tallulah's policies and procedures, principal accountabilities include, but are not limited to:*--------------------Leading by example and being a role model of the standards and behaviors consistent With Tallulah's values and culture*--------------------Successfully communicating company changes/focus to the team*--------------------Able to attend meeting with senior management & team meetings*--------------------Knowledgeable about all products sourced + menu item ingredients--*--------------------Ensuring that safety and security standards are emphasized and adhered to, andThat Employees are trained in appropriate responses to unsafe situations*--------------------Maintaining a clean workspace with excellent quality food and customer service*--------------------Maintaining cleaning and sanitation standards within the workspace.*--------------------Ability to train and lead training with tracking progress*--------------------Accountability in making sure your shift is set prior to starting with all prep/pars*--------------------Able to close out Register at closing of each shift*--------------------Understands the importance of communication with senior mgt regarding anyissues each shift--*--------------------Able to oversee the front of the house during the busiest shifts--*--------------------The candidate must have acceptable verbal English language communication skills,Which includes interpersonal conversational sills.*--------------------The position is consistently asked to make correct change, which demands that he/she Have basic math skills.*--------------------The ability to adapt and follow instructions requires adequate comprehension skills*--------------------Essential to the job is the ability to move freely in and around obstacles common to this position. This individual must be able to move from one work area to another at momentsNotice and in and around crowded work areas.*--------------------Some lifting and the movement of moderate loads require a 75-pound lifting requirement.*--------------------The ability to bend, stoop, and reach around, behind and across equipment and--Furniture*--------------------This individual is responsible for the operation of professional equipment and needs to understand how to operate & troubleshoot errors.*--------------------The effective operation of such equipment requires the use of all limbs and the ability to see at close distance.*--------------------Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility while supervising--*--------------------The ability to report to work at the prescribed time for each scheduled shift and to fulfill the job requirements for the duration of the shift or until relieved of all duties by a direct senior manager.*--------------------The ability to follow directions from direct supervisors + senior management.*--------------------Available to work hours required noted below.*--------------------The ability to interact productively with co-workers.FRONT OF THE HOUSE TEAM LEADERMain Accountabilities:--In addition to following Tallulah's policies and procedures, principal accountabilities include, but are not limited to:*--------------------The ability to understand and follow posted work rules and procedures.*--------------------The ability to receive constructive criticism in a professional manner.*--------------------To perform all work-related tasks as assigned by your supervisor/senior management.*--------------------The ability to understand ordering of procurement.*--------------------The ability to modify tasks with mgt. approval for a better workflow for the customer and team*--------------------The ability to understand inventory and excite.*--------------------The ability to understand the BOH timing, ingredients, and product sourcing.*--------------------The ability to understand all POS systems used.*--------------------Able to close down/open the store and lock-up in the evening.----Some Daily Duties:--------------------------------------Daily Duty Opening ChecklistDaily Duty Closing ChecklistDeep Clean ChecklistPar list for all stock rooms, fridges, and behind countersInventory of Swag, FOH Packaging, closing paperwork, Office products usedTraining Packet for all new Hires/Understand New Hire PaperworkHave knowledge of the Refrigeration Temp Chart, Cooling Temp Chart, Hot Holding Food TempSupervisor End Report CompleteOrdering Guide (weekly/lives in office on clipboard)Customer Service Liaison regarding emails/follow up complaints etc.Maintain all HR reports/forms in the office with copiesAssist Supervisor & Senior Mgt with various tasks and office/eventsTrack all sick days/ PSSL forms for both BOH & FOHMaintain current copies of all forms needed at the storeMaintain & Completion Per shift of all FOH operations within Apps--Compensation + Perks:--Rate: $15.00/hourIn addition to Tallulah's Taqueria's Employee Benefits that include and are not limited to Employee Meals, Health + Dental, 401K, Certificate Reimbursements, Mental Health App, Donation Matching.Vacation--30 hours PAID after 6-months of employment in positionCollege/Education Stipend.$1000 towards your education. Must be employed in Position for at least one year and maintain a 24-hour work week for the entire year (1248 hours) (Not payable as a Bonus, Only directly payable to an institution whether in person/online or a certificate course)
