Castle Hill Inn is looking for a Pastry Supervisor to join the
team.Nestled on 40 acres overlooking the southwestern corner of
Narragansett Bay, Castle Hill Inn a Relais & Chateaux hotel is a
coastal haven where guests come to relax and rejuvenate against a
spectacular New England backdrop, a location that is second to
none. The property features guest rooms that are perched on the
sand dunes of our private beach, a banquet facility, and two
restaurants featuring the talents of the culinary team. Castle Hill

Position: In the Pastry Supervisor Role, you will supervise and
coordinate activities of food preparation, kitchen, and pantry
employees.About You: You are passionate about food, have
high-volume line and production experience, and are dedicated to
the highest quality of execution, cleanliness, organization and
team leadershipEssential Duties:Monitors ordering, receiving and
storage of all pastry related itemsExecutes and verifies month end
inventories to ensure accurate cost controlsSupervises all back of
house employees to ensure proper food handling, cleanliness of
kitchen and maintenance of equipmentQualifications:At least 3 years
of experience in a high volume, scratch cooking environmentAn
associate degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical
school, however, we are willing to train the right candidate
regardless of experience.Must hold a Food Safety Certification.Must
have flexible schedule to work during days, nights, weekends, and
some holidays as neededSkills & Abilities:Strong communication
skillsMust be able to stand for long periods of timeAbility to lift
and move 25-50 poundsBe collaborative, using a team approach to
creating an equitable workplace environment and have respectful
