POSITION Human Resources Manager DescriptionBETA Group, Inc. is
currently seeking a full-time, Human Resources Manager for our
Lincoln, RI office. This role will also support our offices located
in Norwood, MA; Hartford, CT; Manchester, NH; Chicopee, MA; and
Worcester, MA. Periodic visits to satellite office locations. About
the position The Human Resources Manager will be a strategic
partner overseeing the employee life-cycle to include talent
acquisition, onboarding, benefits administration, performance
management and development, employee relations and off-boarding.
The Human Resources Manager will report to the COO with
decision-making authority, ability to recommend and implement HR
related processes and process improvements, accessibility as a
trusted advisor to employees at all levels, direct access to
provide feedback on employee related issues to Senior Management,
through the COO and to receive guidance on company impacted
concerns/issues. The HR Manager will provide relevant updates and
feedback to Senior Management. Additionally, this role will have
support staff to assist with administrative and technical aspects
of the HR function.POSITION REQUIREMENTS Experience Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration,
or related field
- Minimum 8 years of human resource experience
- Minimum 5 years of management experience
- Experience acting as liaison between internal and external
groups, and presenting information to leadership
- Demonstrated experience with and working knowledge of HRIS
systems
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 356 Suite
- Intermediate to Advanced level Excel and Outlook skills
- Demonstrated high sense of urgency, high level of integrity and
responsiveness
- Experience managing confidential information
- Ability to exhibit accurate and detailed knowledge of company
products and services
- Strong understanding of labor and employment law
- Exceptional interpersonal and conflict management skills
- Ability to create effective programs and processes
- Data analysis skills
- Passion to improve others' well-being Highly Desired:
- SHRM-PHR, SHRM-SPHR, SHRM-CP and/or SHRM-SCP professional
certification
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or
related field
- Minimum 10 years of human resource experience
- Experience developing and/or managing Diversity, Equity and
Inclusion (DEI) programs and initiatives
- Experience with compensation and/or total rewards programs
Primary Job Expectations Talent Acquisition Partner with management
to build strategic talent plans aligned with organizational
strategy, attrition rates, hiring trends, and budgets; Optimize
recruiting and interviewing; Coordinate with marketing to highlight
company culture and successes to ensure an ideal candidate
experience; Develop job descriptions; Counsel managers on candidate
selection; Manage applicant tracking system; Conduct compensation
analysis, HRIS system management, and/or Ensure legislative
compliance; Coordinate university recruitment activities including
staffing local career fairs, and university internships/co-op
programs.Benefits Administration Liaise with vendors and negotiate
and coordinate contracts for new and existing plans to ensure
company is offering competitive benefits; Administer and manage all
benefits plans and company perks to include, but not limited to
Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, ESOP, 401(k), STD, LTD,
EAP, FMLA, PTO, Worker's Comp & ADA. Coordinate daily benefits
processing, including enrollments, terminations, and claims; Advise
and inform employees of the details of the company's benefit
programs; resolve benefit-related issues and respond to queries and
requests in a timely manner; Maintain and create records, reports,
and documentation in accordance with federal, state, and provider
regulations. Manage open enrollment season. Facilitate annual
health and benefit 5500 filing. On-boarding Manage employee set-up
(required documents such as personnel forms, I-9, benefits, etc.);
Conduct orientation; Administer employee system access; Facilitate
employee integration and consistent structured follow up; Build and
execute new hire orientation and onboarding programs. Performance
Management and Development Understand the company's market
competitiveness based on total compensation and provide
recommendations to improve engagement, referrals, and employee
retention; Performance management, goal setting, leadership
coaching, performance assessment, training and development, career
planning, corrective action, and employee development; Partner with
management to build Individual Development Plans for employees.
Employee Relations Guide leadership and employees through
performance management and goal-setting; Maintain good
communication and positive relationships with employees to promote
employee satisfaction; Provide guidance and recommendations to
management for conflict management and resolution. Training &
Development Develop and manage training program to include content
creation, curriculum development, and needs assessment; Conduct
one-on-one effectiveness coaching with management to improve
leadership capabilities; Coach management to facilitate
organizational change to model an inclusive environment.
Off-Boarding Assess existing process and procedures to develop and
manage an effective offboarding process; Maintain legislative
compliance; Initiate backfilling process. General Coordinate and
serve on the Employee Engagement and DE&I Committees; Maintain
knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new
technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment
law; Administers Affirmative Action Plan and EEO-1 reporting;
Maintain compliance. Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a
computer.
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times.

- Ability to travel between offices in different states
