Management - Enterprise Services RiskRisk Managers at Capital One
are highly motivated Risk and process management professionals with
excellent analytical, organizational, risk management, project
management, and communication skills. These skills allow us to gain

Manager operates from a foundation of knowledge about the Line of
Business with whom they are working, including processes, risks and
associated controls, and good risk management practices. They are

broad level of exposure across the lines of business and have the
opportunity to work with the business to create and implement
solutions to appropriately manage risks within Enterprise Services.
The demands and high-visibility nature of this position require an
expert with a proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced
environment and who can begin contributing immediately to work
focused on performing technical assessments across technology and
cybersecurity domains.As a Risk Manager in the Enterprise Services
Risk Office, you will be responsible for working with business
partners to identify and consult on potential risks to Capital One.
In the Enterprise Services Risk Office, we are the first line of
defense to help ensure our Company remains well-managed and avoid
unnecessary risk.-- In this position, you will play a key role
performing technology risk assessments.-- You will collaborate
closely with associates across all lines of defense, Lines of
Businesses, and other risk management teams to perform and support
the work related to further maturing risk management practices,
specifically focused on technology and cybersecurity
processes.Responsibilities:Perform technology and cybersecurity
process risk assessmentsDrive work related to Capital One's process
management program, working with the first line of defense
Technology and Cyber teams, Lines of Business, and second line of
defense risk management teams, to ensure effective collaboration
within the team and across stakeholder groupsAnalyze information to
proactively identify risks, trends, and process improvements;
supporting reporting on risk topics to managementStay current on
the changing regulatory environment and understand the impacts to
our effortsAssist project and program delivery, including project
and process management, reporting, engagement in senior leadership
meetings, drafting and reviewing materials for senior management
and other governance activities.Participate in risk and other
management forums and contribute to continuous improvement of risk
and project / program management practices.Support direction,
manage expectations, and may support/lead cross-functional teams
through various initiativesParticipate in and execute other special
projects for the team on a periodic basisBasic Qualifications:High
School Diploma, GED or equivalent certificationAt least 3 years of
experience in information security or technology risk managementAt
least 3 years of experience supporting, partnering, and interacting
with internal business clientsAt least 3 years of experience with
information security, technology policies, standards, or
proceduresAt least 2 years of experience developing, evaluating, or
implementing information security programsPreferred
Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree or military experience5+ years of
experience in information security or technology risk management3+
years of project management experience leading cross functional
projects and programs--3+ years of experience with analysis of
information security or technology threats and risks--3+ years of
experience in information security or technology risk
identifications and assessments associated with new or changed
initiativesBackground in the financial services industryCertified
Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified
Information Security Manager (CISM)Ability to set direction, manage
expectations, and lead cross-functional teamsAbility to communicate
and influence clearly and to interact effectively at all levels of

minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are
listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information
is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these
locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay
at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be
prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly
worked.Location is New York City: $131,400 - $150,000 for Prin
Assoc, Cyber Risk & AnalysisCandidates hired to work in other
locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that
location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any
candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the
candidate's offer letter.This role is also eligible to earn
performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash
bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be
discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.Capital
