We are seeking a Hazmat CDL Route Driver for our Retail Services team, responsible for transporting hazardous materials in compliance with company policies and government regulations. Ideal candidates will pride themselves on safety, customer service, and environmental responsibility. This role plays a vital part in our company's core services and provides a substantial impact by reducing hazardous waste in the environment. Safely transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste while operating a Class-A Commercial Vehicle. Load, unload, and segregate materials during service stops according to safety and regulatory standards. Adhere to weight limits and ensure proper placarding and labeling of vehicles. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure maintenance and safety of the vehicle. Provide excellent customer service and maintain logs of routes and deliveries. Respond appropriately to emergencies and spill response situations. Coordinate with the dispatch team for route planning and schedule adjustments. Operation of commercial vehicles including those requiring a Class A or B CDL with Hazardous Materials endorsements. Knowledge of hazardous materials regulations (DOT & EPA). Ability to navigate with GPS and traditional mapping methods. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Capability to handle physical duties including lifting and moving objects up to 50 pounds. Medical Insurance 401k Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements. DOT Medical Certification. HAZWOPER certification is a plus but not required.
