We?re currently looking for a dynamic, results-focused SEO Specialist to join our team based in our Newburyport, Boston, or Providence offices. This position will manage and execute Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategies for our clients as well as Matter?s internal SEO program. Our ideal candidate understands how to integrate organic search into broader content strategies to deliver against our clients? business goals. The SEO Specialist will report to the SEO Manager and will work collaboratively across the agency. Key Responsibilities are listed below: --- Develop client-specific keyword research strategies and set KPI benchmarking and reporting for organic search optimization efforts--- Generate recommendations for optimizing site architecture, URL structures and patterns for maximum indexing and keyword relevancy--- Conduct analyses to identify further optimization opportunities for clients on a monthly basis--- Develop organic search strategies that leverage web, social networking, user generated content and PR efforts to drive qualified visits--- Follow up on status of SEO recommendations for all clients; provide implementation reviews--- Participate in and lead client-facing review, planning, strategy and new business meetings--- Manage aspects of SEO related to Matter?s own website (www.matternow.com) Requirements: --- Bachelor?s degree or equivalent relevant business experience--- Minimum of 2 years? experience conducting successful SEO campaigns--- Solid understanding of content management systems and knowledge of current web and search technologies (including Google algorithms) as they relate to SEO--- Proficiency in standard SEO tools (MOZ; SpyFu; SEMRush, etc?)--- Proficiency in Google tools including Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, etc..--- Hands on experience with web analytics tools & search engine referral tracking/benchmarking--- Familiarity and understanding of the PR/social media industry--- A self-starter with an ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment--- Strong attention to detail--- Excellent written and verbal communication skills--- Ability to work with cross functional teams and individually to drive results--- Proficiency with paid search marketing campaign management (Google Ads & Bing Ads), is a plus Matter provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
