Job Description:
Reporting to the Director, Employee Relations, the Employee
Relations Specialist is responsible for managing non-complex
workplace investigations, providing advice and counsel on workplace
matters, facilitatingtraining and providing subject matter
expertise on Point32Health policies. Additionally, ER Specialists
conduct intake conversations, provide advice on Performance
Improvement Plans, Corrective Action and options for resolving
workplace concerns. This role works closely with the in-house legal
team, Human Resources Business Partners and with the wider Human
Resources community and clients to deliver a fair, consistent ER
service, both minimizing risk to the business and aligning work to
meet business needsDUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES what you will be
doing:
- Work with assigned HR Business Partners to resolve complex
workplace matters including but not limited to conducting
investigations in response to formal complaints, including
interviewing appropriate parties, reviewing and gathering related
documentation/data, drafting of summary reports and presentation of
recommendations for effective resolution.
- Provide expertise and consultation to the business in
addressing employee behavior and performance concerns, including
assisting on the development and delivery of appropriate feedback
or corrective action that aligns with company values and
processes.
- Develop strong relationships and act as a liaison between HR,
Legal, and the business areas on employee relations issues.
- Manage employee off-boarding process, including conducting exit
interviews, logistical arrangements for final paychecks,
deactivation of network access.
- In collaboration with HR Business Partners and other HR
colleagues, provide effective guidance, advice and referrals on
human resources policies and procedures and laws and regulations in
order to ensure compliance with HPHC policies and with state and
federal employment laws, such as FLSA, PFML, ADA, FMLA, and
EEO/Affirmative Action.
- Participate in the review, maintenance, and communication of HR
policies and procedures in compliance with state and federal
law.
- Provide rigorous data analysis and reporting solutions based on
business needs, highlighting key trends in employee relations to
actively drive proactive solutions to minimize reactive work and to
improve levels of employee engagement.
- Partner with Organizational Development team to design and
facilitate Manager Training based on data analysis
- Other duties and projects as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS what you
need to perform the jobEDUCATION, CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or a related
field or equivalent experience.EXPERIENCE:
- 3-5 years of recent human resources experience in an employee
relations consulting role with exposure to employment and labor
law, preferably in a large, complex organization.SKILL
REQUIREMENTS:

complicated employee relations issues

- Must be able to work under normal office conditions and work
from home as required.
- Work may requiresimultaneous use of a telephone/headset and
PC/keyboard andsitting for extended durations.
- May be required to work additional hours beyond standard work
