Position Summary:We are currently seeking a 1st Shift Assembler to support our Smithfield, RI location. Our Assemblers are responsible for assembly of semi-custom - level 2 single door units.Using kitted frame parts and prepped doors, assemble semi-custom single door units.Prep material for assembly using exact measurements.Operate several different saws to cut material.Read work orders to assure accuracy of assembly.Make necessary repairs or adjustments to assure quality.Meet standards for quality as set forth by the company.Conduct all activities in a safe manner, adhering to company safety standards.Qualifications - A qualified candidate will have:High School Diploma or GEDOne to two years related experienceMust be able to read a tape measureAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimalsAbility to read and understand EnglishAbility to use hand tools, pneumatic staple gun and other electric tools when necessaryAbility to follow oral and written communication from supervisor, lead or co-workerWho We Are:Reeb - is one of the largest distributors of Millwork products such as door slabs, exterior and interior pre-hung door units, and columns.
