Job Description:The RoleWe have an opening for a highly motivated Software Engineer to join the Fidelity Institutional Business Enablement Technology (FIBET) team. You will be part of a team that works on both client and server-side technologies, and you will have the opportunity to grow and develop expertly within the Fidelity organization.The Expertise and Skills You HaveModel Fidelity Values: Honesty & Integrity, Employee Respect, Quality & ExcellenceA degree in a Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or related subject area.2 years' proven experience in Software Development in 1 or more of the following: Angular 2+, Java/JEE, Spring, REST Services, Cloud (AWS), Test and Deployment technologiesProven experience developing business logic through Java and mid-tier servicesKnowledge in working with data, SQL and writing batch jobs.Passion for data analysis with the ability to navigate and master complex transactional and warehouse databases.Strong Communication Skills (oral and written)Develop high quality, maintainable software solutions in an agile environment to meet functional and non-functional business requirementsFocus on customer: Demonstrate understanding of customer's business domainContinuously improve technical proficiency: Demonstrate knowledge and application of current technologiesAble to work under minimum supervision and be a standout colleagueCollaborative in approach, actively contributing to how work gets completedParticipate in all facets of the delivery processThe TeamThis role is part of the FIBET group within FI.
