Starting Pay is $21.28 per hour !!!$1500.00 Sign On Bonus paid in 3- $500.00 increments at 3,6,&9 months of employment!!! Job Description The Cold Heading and Nailmaker Set-up/Operator reports to the Production Supervisor and is responsible for set up and operation of the cold heading and Nailmaking machines and auxiliary equipment to produce high quality fasteners to our stamping operations. Responsibilities: *Set up cold heading and nailmaking equipment and auxiliary equipment (including nail washing equipment, wire drawers) per drawings and specification *Operate Col heading and nailmaker equipment *Perform Daily maintenance on equipment *Perform quality checks and document, using gages, dial indicators, micrometers and dial calipers and visual inspection *Perform safety checks to ensure safety devices are on and in working order. *Prepare and maintain accurate records and inspection sheets *Manually handle parts from work in process containers, move containers and as required and supply raw material to equipment using pallet jack and/or forklift *Clean equipment and keep work area neat and orderly *Participate as a trainer when necessary *Inform Supervisor when in need of tooling or when a shortage of job required components are not available *Work in other area's of the plant if need e by the request of supervisor and/or Plant Manager Position Skills and Experience: *Basic reading/writing and math skills including fractions and decimals required *Must have general knowledge of tools and machinery, required *Mechanical ability, required *Ability to lift/pull up to fifty pounds and e able to stand for long periods, required *Must have general knowledge of use of measuring devices, ability to interpret shop drawings and specifications, required *Minimum of 3 years of experience on Set up and operating 2 die/3Blow Cold Heading or Nailmaking Equipment *Formal Training and or Certification in Setup/operation for cold form heading equipment a plusOther Considerations: *Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in designated areas *Working Conditions of a shop environment including regular exposure to noise and oils and varying temperatures *Ability to handle moderate to high physical activity Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Protected Veterans/Disabled
