Job Description:The RoleDo you want to make a difference in our
customers' lives and be part of a highly collaborative,
cross-functional technology delivery team? -We are looking to
recruit multiple Squad Leaders who blend product management,
leadership, and planning expertise with a passion for delivering
results. As an integral part of a product owner team, Squad Leaders
contribute to the overall product area strategy as well as delivery
of high-value features for FI clients. In an Agile structure, Squad
Leaders partner with other Fidelity leaders to influence decisions,
build shared roadmaps, and guide the development of new features. -
Squad Leaders work with a cross-functional team to deliver digital
account management capabilities for our Custody, Clearing, and
Fidelity Family Office Services (FFOS) intermediaries and their
clients. Squad Leaders ensure alignment on the "what" and "when"
through continuous planning and prioritization of a product
backlog. Along with their squads, Squad Leaders work iteratively,
innovating through testing and experimentation, learning from
failures while celebrating success. Additional responsibilities
include:
- Communicating the squad's roadmap to motivate and build team
and partner support and alignment
- Anticipating, discovering through ongoing interaction with, and
prioritizing client / partner needs to serve as their voice
- Defining, evaluating, and communicating results against
acceptance criteria
- Inspecting and evaluating progress, and removing
impediments
- Measuring performance against established objectives and KPI's
that deliver on agreed upon business, technology, and people
results
- Collaborating and coordinating with fellow Squad Leaders,
Chapter Leaders, and Scrum Masters to enable associate growth,
development, and learning
- Making informed trade-off decisions to strike the right balance
between quality, cost, and timelines
- Collaborating with dependent partners to align on delivery
plansThe Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Series 99 (or willing to obtain this FINRA certification within
12 months of hire)
- 5+ years of proven experience and/or digital product
management
- Proven experience delivering sophisticated technical projects
requiring collaboration across organizations
- Positive relationship building and mentoring skills
- Ability to collaborate and influence across different levels of
the organization
- Proven experience designing, developing, and maintaining
technology products and solutions
- Agile experience preferred
- Ability to grasp sophisticated product features and break them
into clear and concise stories with well-defined business value and
acceptance criteria
- Proven capability of leading, influencing, and motivating
colleagues without formal authority, with a track record of
building hard-working teams
- Supporting and enabling squad members to be effective,
